Vengeance 2.0

February 8th, 2008

i4.gifHere’s improv comic #4. Since I had so much criteria to choose from, I chose “bride forgets panties in best man’s room” and the theme from Sesame Street. Pardon, um… my comic’s condition. I drew it pretty fast and once again, I gave myself too many things to do and really, really wanted to get this comic up before PodCamp Toronto! :)

Um… I also forgot to include the Sesame Street theme. Oops.

Anyhoo, I’m working on a book.

Cooking With Spud

November 10th, 2007

150108-sm.jpgWay, way back in November I asked for an era, a musical instrument, a sport and a Hello Kitty object (ex: Hello Kitty Toaster, Hello Kitty golf clubs). It took a while because I was engulfed in too many frivolous things like my day job, eating, lifting weights and my illustration work. Also, it was hard to create a comic that combined Medieval England-ish, a Fender Telecaster, roller derby and a Hello Kitty tailpipe!

I couldn’t delay it any further so here is a very rough comic from my sketchbook which I worked on over a few days at my day job during lunch.

It was a challenge and without further ado, here is improv comic #3; Cooking With Spud!

Willomina’s Home Project #2

October 11th, 2007

Improv comic #2 is finished, up and all about Willomina’s incessant search for a man. It’s called Willomina’s Home Project #2 correctly implying that she does this often (don’t think for a moment there are only 2 projects!).

This time around, I received suggestions from my Improv Comics Facebook group. I asked for a food item and a mode of transportation. I got Nutella and a unicorn!

I wrote a bit of a director’s commentary so-to-speak on my Recent Doodle blog.

Spud Goes on a Hot Date

September 2nd, 2007

The very first Improv Comic launches with Spud going on a hot date. The winning suggested topics came from Twitter; French Canadian, Canadian Idol and the Littlest Hobo.

This comic was drawn and posted in 2 days. Of course the comics aren’t fully polished as I have a day job ;)

I talked more about this on my Recent Doodle blog.
