My first 30 or so shows were done on garageband 2. Loved it, They only extra features that I find useful in GB 3 are the "ducking" and the present vocals features. As for .wav, the only files I have trouble with are k7 .wav because they are 8 bit (I think).

However, I do completely support waiting for the next version of ilife and garageband 4

Ah yes, Garageband. I completely forgot to mention that program. The problem is, I didn't want to spend money on upgrading to iLife 6 and I think I needed to also upgrade to Tiger. So while I'm waiting for Leopard to come out, I'm stuck.

Well, ok, yes, I've brought this all to myself. Don't you just love the transparency in blogging? ;)

The current version of Garageband does not really support podcasting like the latest one. Or at least I couldn't figure out how on earth to load a wav file (or at least an aiff). As I write this, I am remembering that once I did do that-- hm... all the egg on my face is begining to drip all over my keyboard...
