Here’s panel #9 of my comic vingette, Medieval Spud. Now what is Spud up to? Is he… stealing? Maybe he’s a spy. Who knows, I’m not telling… yet.
There are 2 left (and boy am I tired of posting these!;)). What could the plot be? It’s a fragment on an overall plot. Kind of like how JK Rowling made up entire family histories while preparing the plot for her masterpiece. Panels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and whew, 9 have been posted in previous days.

Here’s panel #9 of my comic vingette, Medieval Spud. I really like this one as it sets a mood of suspense. There’s an intruder in da house! I really tried to make the scene dark but those darn watercolours… Yes, I blame them, not me. No.
Have you figured out the plot? For your convenience, take a look at panels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. There are three more to go. Will there actually be an ending? Or will I leave you hanging? Hey, if it worked for Prison Break…

Here’s panel #8 of my comic vingette, Medieval Spud. The plot thickens!
Take a look at panels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 if you haven’t already. There will be 12 altogether. Four more to go.

Here’s panel #7 of my comic vingette, Medieval Spud. This one seems a little playful, doesn’t it?
Panels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 have already been posted if you want to take a gander and figure out the plot.
Each day I am posting the proceeding panel. Five more to go.

Here’s panel #6 of my comic vingette, Medieval Spud. Panels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have already been posted if you want to take a gander and figure out the plot. This is the half-way mark as there are 12 in total. It’s fun experimenting with comics and blogs. If only I had a larger audience :)
Each day I am posting the proceeding panel. All this plays a little part in my upcoming graphic novel.

Now just what is Spud up to?? Panel #5 of my comic vingette, called Medieval Spud. You can see panels 1, 2, 3 and 4 to piece together the plot :)
In other news, as soon as I post this I’ll be working out bodyweight style (that didn’t come out right).

The 3rd panel of 12 of my comic vingette entitled Medieval Spud simply because I couldn’t think of a better title :)
While playing around with watercolours in my neat little Moleskine sketchbook (for watercolours), I thought of creating a 12-part fragment of a mini-comic to post panel-by-panel post-by-post. It’s all part of a book I’m putting together. More on that later.
Can you figure out the plot? You can see the 2nd panel and 1st panel.

The 2nd of 12 panels in a very short story (comic vignettes I’ll call them) I will leave for you to figure out what is going on. Aren’t I nice?
Here is the 1st panel.

Over the next few weeks, I will post a fragment of my upcoming graphic novel/comic book panel by panel. Actually, it’s not part of my book or maybe it will, I haven’t decided yet but it’s got something to do with the background stroy.
Just like what J.K. Rowling did when planning her infamous books. If I lost you, you can listen to show #5 of my podcast; Harry Potter and the Character Profiles.
Anyhoo, I made a 12-panel… um… “vingette” I guess it’s called as I have a Moleskine sketchbook for watercolours that I hardly use. My watercolouring skills are terrible and I thought I’d have some fun in trying to figure them out by making a short story. A Moleskine novella if you will. Hm.. I like the sound of that.
Above is the 1st panel. There is no dialogue and I thought it would be fun if you can piece together what is going on.
I’ll call this series “Medieval Spud” as it takes place during the Medieval Era. So really, it’s an ancestor of Spud’s you’ll see in the series.
Let me know what you think– especially if you can offer tips on watercolours :)
